Curriculum Vitae

My name is Lars Carlsson (b. 1970) and I have been working as a makeup artist and wigmaker professionally since 1989.
Before my professional career started I worked with amateur theatre and local TV for four years in my hometown of Borås, Sweden.

1989 I started my formal training as an apprentice at the Gothenburg City Theatre in Sweden. After three months of being an apprentice I was offered my first real job at Folkteatern in Gothenburg.

The City theatre was my base and when I did other jobs I was still always reporting back to my teacher there. In those first couple of years I worked on many plays on the City theatre for example "Richard III", "Nicholas Nickleby" and "Anna Karenina".
