My name is Lars Carlsson and I am a special effects makeup artist and wig maker in Gothenburg, Sweden.
I have been working professionally in the entertainment industry since 1989 when I was 19 years old and got my first full time job at a theatre.

My company, Makeup-FX was started in 1990 and today I run it together with my wife Heather.
This website is mainly used to show you our work and to teach our craft since we now have started up a separate web shop for our products.

We do all kinds of makeup effects for film, TV, theatre, advertising, fashion, events, seminars and teaching.

About 15 years ago we also branched out and started doing anatomical models for the medical industry.
